This Burger Grease Art campaign has a man using the grease from Arby’s competitor’s burgers to create a giant reproduction of Da Vinci’s "Mona Lisa." Although watching this video can be difficult, especially after a large greasy meal, I must admit that the man is very talented in reproducing Da Vinci’s masterpiece.
Implications - Calories and the control of cholesterol can be a touchy subject for many consumers; however, this Arby's ad approaches the issue in a way that is easily accepted by a wide audience. Incorporating iconic imagery and a more lighthearted note to the issue while still bringing it to light as a downfall of competitors is a difficult task that Arby's has seemed to conquer.
