In honor of National Ice Cream Day on July 16th, McDonald's has created a new treat called the 'Golden Arches Cone.' However, don't look for the soft serve ice cream on menus at McDonald's locations. The QSR chain will serve exactly one Golden Arches Cone on July 16th, and the lucky recipient will also receive free soft serve cones for life.
The Golden Arches Cone is part of McDonald's grander summer celebration for National Ice Cream Day. Along with the lifetime prize, McDonald's will be giving away free soft serve ice creams between 2 and 5 PM local time. All consumers have to do is download McDonald's mobile app to redeem a free vanilla cone.
