This Ale Skillfully Combines Elements Of Blackcurrant and Vanilla

Public Coast Brewing Company, which is based in Cannon Beach, Oregon, decided to ring in Oregon Craft Beer Month by launching the 'Currant Vanilla Tart Ale,' a delicious golden ale that offers a truly intriguing flavor profile.

Coming in at 7.1 percent ABV (alcohol by volume), this particular golden ale deftly manages to combine the creaminess of vanilla with the tartness of berries, making for a complex yet eminently welcoming drinking experience. The end result is a brew that offers tartness that isn't overpowering.

According to Public Coast Brewing, this particular brew is designed to comfortably compliment many of the eating pleasures of the Pacific Northwest, ranging from braised meats to berry tarts. The beer is currently available for purchase in canned form at Public Coast's brewpub, although visitors may also enjoy it served on tap.
