Glenmorangie A Tale of Winter is a new 13-year-old single malt that was created for the winter season and it boasts a "flurry of wintery aromas and flavors" and cozy packaging to match. The new single malt sports a label that reminds of a lovingly hand-knit item with intricate details.
This limited-edition expression was made with a batch of whisky matured in ex-Bourbon barrels and finished in ex-Marsala casks. Boasting bright and vivid flavors, the 46% ABV whisky has notes of orange toffee, lavender honey and sweet rose, plus red pepper flakes, cocoa powder, Brazil nut toffee and sweet barley malt.
According to Glenmorangie's head of whisky creation, Dr Bill Lumsden, the brand was inspired by "the joy of cosy moments indoors" during Scotland’s snowy months.
