Fittingly for Spring/Summer 2017, the new Givenchy collection makes use of vibrant florals, gemstone-like colorways, volcanic patterns and statement silhouettes.
When seeking out creative inspiration for these designs, Riccardo Tisci is said to have considered the 'Jardin des Plantes' in Paris. Like all the apparel that's put out by the French luxury brand, the new Givenchy collection is made with the highest quality of fabrics, which are artfully stitched together. While some pieces utilize more simplistic cuts, the majority have strong structures that add tremendously to the use of vibrant colorways.
In one dress that seems to draw from the 1960s for its style, a large pointed collar decorates the neck and extends down the torso. A whimsical pattern makes up the rest of it, with hues of pink, orange and burgundy interchanging.
