Pièces Uniques Launches the PRIMARY ELEMENTS Capsule for SS22
Pièces Uniques designs a Spring/Summer 2022 collection entitled PRIMARY ELEMENTS that focuses on color studies surrounding the four elements. Spotlighting Water, Earth, Wind, and Fire, the campaign dives into the nature of hues as the brand's Artistic Director Edmond Luu turns his attention to his admiration of primary colors.
He enjoys creating garments that are made with colors associated with the different elements. Some of the processes used throughout the capsule feature the waterproofing of fabrics, thermochromic fabrics, tectonic plate-themed yoke accents, laser cuts for breathability, and more. There are also some references to pop culture that make their way onto the seasonal capsule including science fiction and manga themes from a neo-futuristic angle from Luu's childhood.
