Irakli Abashidze and Dimitri Shapakidze of Laboratory of Architecture #3 have created a geometric residence nestled into a hillside near Tbilisi, Georgia. The home is situated on top of complex topography, and the architect's designed a home that sat organically on the uneven terrain. To create this organic aesthetic, the home is designed into a series of geometric structures all connected together to form a single-family compound.
The home is made of concrete and has a distinct brutalist aesthetic. While the lightly colored concrete and the green roofs bring warmth to the structure. The home is perfectly nestled into the surrounding landscape and incorporates large grass-beds and rich landscaping to further blend nature with architecture.
