LEON, the famous U.K.-based fast food chain, has launched a vegan smoked garlic aioli that is designed to function as a dairy-free alternative of the iconic LEON aioli that has been a fixture of the chain's many locations for nearly two decades now.
This vegan smoked garlic aioli is made with aquafaba, a unique chickpea stock that is made from faba beans and smoked water, instead of egg, giving it its vegan credentials without compromising on delicious taste.
Available for purchase at Sainsbury's supermarkets around the U.K., this vegan garlic aioli is ideal for use in any dishes where regular aioli is used, ranging from french fries to hamburgers. Unsurprisingly, this aioli is known for being especially ideal as a pairing in conjunction with LEON products such as its waffle fries and cheesy bites.
“With its rich, full flavor, LEON aioli has been at the heart of our restaurant menus since 2004 and in our grocery range since launch in 2019 – it’s a year-round bestseller," said LEON Grocery's managing director Ashley Davis. "This new smoked version really packs a punch, and garlic lovers won’t be disappointed."
