Architects MOBIL M are to thank for the funky re-vamp of The Plaza Nueva.
This drugstore is located in a historically dense area and the goal was to create a new space while keeping it in tune with the traditional, historical surroundings.
Located in Bilbao, Spain is The Plaza Nueva pharmacy with an interior inspired by the forests of the Basque Country.
Implications - Once inside the pharmacy you will be greeted by a bright space with green and black mosaic flooring. The tiles on the floor were meant to resemble the tiles that are found in the historic center of Bilbao. The calming pharmacy also has photos of leafy greens on the walls and illuminated glass counters that were designed to represent running water.
