Indeed Brewing Company's Hurricane Cocktail-Inspired Fruited Ale shares a taste of rum, passion fruit syrup and lemon juice in a bottle. Patrick Nickelson, Head Brewer, Indeed Milwaukee, said, "This beer is made in the fashion of the famous Hurricane cocktail from New Orleans. We threw a bunch of dehydrated orange peel into the whirlpool and lots of passion fruit puree at the end of fermentation for a super fruity, tart, and sweet beer."
Even though the product boasts higher levels of alcohol, it is said to be just as easy to enjoy as the signature cocktail it was inspired by. To support Mardi Gras celebrations, the company released 750ml bottles for enjoying with king's cake, boudin and beignets.
