The debut of a brand-new 360-resale program was announced by specialty shop Francesca's on Tuesday. Customers can purchase pre-owned products from Francesca's online at the resale website, thanks to a platform powered by ThredUp, one of the biggest online resale platforms. Brands such as Tommy Hilfiger and Hot Topic have also launched ThredUp website’s in collaboration with the platform, making Francesca’s the most recent addition.
Customers can earn shopping credit by purchasing and selling gently used products through the program. Customers may create a pre-paid shipping label, load any shippable box or bag with women's and children's clothing from any brand in their wardrobe, and send it to ThredUp for no charge.
"We are aware of the environmental impact apparel has on our planet, and our work with ThredUp in launching Forever Francesca's is an important first step in doing our part to make a difference," said Jann Parish, chief marketing officer at Francesca's.
