Ford Recently Announced the FordPass Network of EV Charging Stations

Ford is launching the FordPass Network, which will simplify the charging process for electric vehicles. The company indicated that the new charging network will include 12,000 different stations, and it will have over 35,000 plugs in North America. Those who use the network will be able to pay for the service through the FordPass app, or on the screen of a vehicle. Ford has also announced that those who purchase a Ford EV, will get free access to the FordPass Network for two years.
In order to launch the charging network, Ford collaborated with Greenlots, the technology provider. Greenlots was then able to get a number of different charging companies to agree to enter the network, however, a complete list of companies was not released.
