Ledger just redefined the flexible office space model by allowing commuters to "ride their bikes directly to their office doors, even if they're five stories up." The revolutionary building was designed in collaboration between Rojkind Arquitectos, Callaghan Horiuchi, and Marlon Blackwell Architects.
The bikeable workspace relates to "northwest Arkansas’s burgeoning status as the mountain biking capital of the country." The floorplan will certainly encourage people to commute by bicycle which is both positive for the environment and one's wellbeing.
Individuals can get into the building via a ramp at the back of the building and zigzag their way up. The incline is "a manageable 5% grade" which ensures a greater degree of accessibility. The ramp also allows for the establishment of terraces outside the flexible office space.
