Architecture studio Foster + Partners introduces a look at 50 Electric Boulevard, which is a dynamic office space in London's Battersea Power Station area. Right on the high street, the studio created the building and interior design with the notion of formulating a flexible and adaptable workspace. Every level of the building has a cantilevered outdoor terrace and windows that open up for workers to access the outdoors for a more balanced wellbeing.
Head of the design studio, Grant Brooker states, "50 Electric Boulevard's soft undulating form creates a varying floorplate, which provides maximum flexibility for its tenants and creates a building that can evolve to meet the future requirements of the workplace. We wanted 50 Electric Boulevard to be flooded with light and, of course, to benefit from natural ventilation."
