Hint, which makes a variety of fruit-infused water beverages without sugars or sweeteners, recently introduced a line of flavored water for kids in playfully branded cartons that resemble classic juice boxes but contain zero juice. The lightly flavored, kid-targeted water products are available in simple fruit flavors like watermelon, cherry, blackberry and apple, which are also free from artificial colors, calories and preservatives.
For this new release, Hint notes that it "didn’t have to reinvent the wheel," as it only needed to repackage its top three flavors in kid-friendly cartons and introduce a special apple variety.
To better support consumers of all ages in avoiding soda and juice beverages that are full of sugar, brands are launching lightly flavored and functionally enriched water products as more alluring alternatives to plain bottled water.
