Willicroft is known for its plant-based cheese alternatives and the Dutch startup recently launched its first non-cheese product in the form of a fermented plant-based butter called The Original Better. This all-natural, cultured and palm oil-free product mimics the taste, texture and performance features of conventional dairy butter.
This product has been in the works for two years and it makes the most of a fermentation process that mimics the richness of high-end dairy butter without artificial ingredients.
