With fried chicken becoming a popular meal addition all over the world, KFC Japan is now selling fast food bento boxes. These special KFC bento boxes are only served at KFC's Niwatorikaratei locations, of which there are only four throughout Japan.
The small stores serve take-out only of a small menu made up of chicken items like Delicious Spicy, Soy Sauce, KFC Secret Spice and Pepper and Roasted Rice. The bento boxes include three varieties of chicken as chosen by the customer and a two-tiered tray with a layer of rice underneath. The bento boxes also include scoops of potato salad and a square omelette to complete the meal. The bento comes wrapped in KFC branding and a pair of chopsticks for a quick and easy lunch option.
