The family photo series by photographer Viktoria Soronchinski was inspired by Alessandra Sanguinetti’s 'The Adventures of Guille & Belinda.' The Ukranian-born photographer gets this mother and daughter duo, Anna and Eve, to pose in a series of images of them locked in a fantasy world, where only the both of them dwell.
The spellbinding images are whimsical and take a different approach to portraying the bond between mother and daughter.
“I first met Anna and Eve in Montreal where I used to live at the moment. They drew my attention because of the unusual dynamic of their relationship. They seemed to interact like two sisters rather than like a mother and a daughter. They were both in the process of growing up and discovering this world. They were both learning from each other," says Soronchinski.
