adidas Introduces the F50+ Football Boots
Sportswear giant adidas unveils a look at the F50+ football boot which is being dubbed one of the fastest ever designs in terms of football shoes. The F50+ is made to integrate running sneaker technology into the foundations of a football boot. The main highlight of the shoe focuses closely on the sole unit, which is an area that is deeply studied when it comes to the realm of running.
Harry Miles, adidas footwear developer director notes, "From Adidas' point of view, this is our first football super shoe, we would be pretty certain to say that. What's cool is, it's proprietary," he continued. "We have something, which sits in the patent office. It's our project that we brought to life, which comes with a lot of risk because it's brand new. It was also a risk when we released the Adidas Pro. That was a big escape, a big departure from where we've been in running shoes, and now you don't see a professional marathon where somebody isn't wearing a super shoe."
