UK supermarket Asda launched a trio of neon-colored, color-changing Extra Special gin products that are packaged with vintage-inspired apothecary bottle labels and flavors that remind of favorite kinds of candy sweets. While the dazzling Lemon Sherbet flavor contains hints of glitter, the Parma Violet gin boasts the ability to transform from a deep purple hue to a pink color when tonic water is added.

According to Ed Sowerby, Asda spirits product manager, "Novelty, quality gins have become a summer must-have for customers looking to entertain with flair and flavor." As such, the supermarket is introducing an in-store Gin Wheel that helps customers match their favorite kinds of gin to its complementary new tonics, which have been created to perfectly match and enhance the flavors of different kinds of gin spirits.
