There’s something about heights and transparent observation decks that give me the heebie-jeebies, but the Ericsson Globe SkyView's new addition has me changing my mind. The SkyView is an orb that climbs along the side of the Ericsson Globe to give a terrifying but mind-blowing view of Stockholm.
The Ericsson Globe SkyView orb holds up to 16 passengers and a trip up takes about three minutes, whereas a round trip takes 20 minutes. The SkyView “scale the Globe on rails operating based on ski-lift technology” and the best part is that the orbs are made out of glass.
