With the Internet being saturated with superhero artwork, illustrators must resort to presenting those beloved characters in abstract manners to garner attention, and that’s exactly what Edzel Rubite has done. Seen here is his series, entitled ‘Projekt Sirkols,’ in which he renders myriad comic book figures in rounder incarnations. Among those featured are Captain America, Captain Planet, Flash, Hulk, Iron Man, Batman, Spider-Man and much more. Chances are, you’ll find one hero in ‘Projekt Sirkols’ that you like.
Also worth mentioning is Edzel Rubite’s minimalist approach, using standard geometric shapes wherever he can while still remaining faithful to the original designs of each character. The Cebu City, Phillipines-based artist even included an image of The Simpsons in the collection with the same treatment he gave to everyone else.
