Tropical Smoothie Cafe is Offering a New Edible Strawberry Straw

The Edible Strawberry Straw is being launched by the Tropical Smoothie Cafe in a bid to offer consumers a more eco-friendly experience that eliminates the need for single-use plastic straws in favor of a tasty alternative. The straws are reported to stay rigid for up to 40 minutes in cold or frozen drinks and have been developed by SORBOS in the US. Tropical Smoothie Cafe will be the first restaurant franchise chain to carry the new straws that can be simply eaten after being used.

The Edible Strawberry Straw is being launched with the new Tropical Smoothie Cafe's Cranberry Crisp Smoothie and the Cranberry Truffle Smoothie, which are both made with non-fat vanilla yogurt and are available only while supplies last.
