GRT Architects finishes the renovated East Village Apartment found in New York, New York. The minimal space highlights the structural layout of the space while retaining the beloved 20th-century character that it has. It is organized by a main corridor and tailored specifically to suit the needs of the client.
This creates round openings along the walls and the corridor leads toward the relocated kitchen. The new space features a distinct kitchen, living room, and dining space -- all of which have their own unique ambiance. The living room has a herringbone threshold with a ramed opening and it also features an entire wall full of built-in shelves along with a panel that slides open to unveil a television.
