A new Dunkin' Donuts concept store has been introduced in Quincy, Massachusetts, featuring signage that features just the "Dunkin'" part of the brand name. Last year, Dunkin' Donuts announced that it will be testing out a rebranding as Dunkin' in an attempt to bring attention to its beverage offerings, beyond just being the number one retailer of donuts in the country. In line with this aim, the next-generation concept store introduces a completely redesigned experience inside of the 2,200-square-foot location.
The modern design features a lighter interior color scheme and a layout that favors natural light. Visitors will also notice significant changes, such as a tap system that serves eight kinds of cold beverages from coffees to iced teas. The Dunkin' store also features a grab-and-go drive-thru lane exclusively for DD Perks members who place their orders ahead of time via the chain's mobile app.
Espresso machines are included in the kitchen so that drinks may be made-to-order. Additionally, a single-cup machine also provides the opportunity for select kinds of coffee to be ground and brewed one cup at a time.
