In a move to make the experience of enjoying wine and beer less serious and more enjoyable to the masses, these alcohols are being promoted with accessible, unusual and unique drink pairings such as pizza, burgers, inexpensive candy bars and even edible insects. In celebration of London Cocktail Week this year, French artisan spirit Sauvelle is hosting a pop-up experience that pairs cocktails with items that can't be consumed—sneakers.
The 'Classics & Classics' pop-up will see Sauvelle teaming up with the footwear experts at The Drop Date to make these unique cocktail and footwear pairings. One cocktail to look out for at the event is the 'Shady and Rainy' cocktail, which promises to put a novel new twist on the iconic "dark and stormy."
Other than sampling drinks, attendees will also be albe to partake in Reebok Workouts and peruse nightly art exhibitions.
