Photographer Rune Guneriussen has enlisted the long winter nights of Norway to create these mesmerizing photographs of domestic lighting in the wilds of the Scandinavian countryside.
The lights, mostly of the IKEA work lamp variety, have been caught in the shadowy Norwegian landscape looking as enchanting as they can be. Against the snow-covered ground and at the beach they look as if they are holding a party of their own. Yet lurking at the side of a stream at midnight, they look faintly threatening.
