One Disney store retail location has been completely reworked to offer a simpler layout, themed product collections and a better connection to the happenings at Disney's theme parks. The the Northridge Fashion Center in Los Angeles, California, now serves as a prototype for future Disney stores.
Inside the space, kids are able to view the daily parades happening at Disneyland in California and Walt Disney World in Florida on live video screens. To make kids feel like they're actually watching the parade in person, store employees come around to bring out cushions, light-up Mickey Mouse ears and carts full of confectionery treats.
With these in-store screens, Disney also has the potential to host Disney movie premieres and other family-friendly special events for kids of all ages.
