An inaugurate digital showroom is scheduled to be established at the Triode Gallery in Paris, France on June 7th, 2018. The initiative is a virtual reality extension to the establishment and "a first in the contemporary furniture scene." The experience will boast a 120 square meter classical Parisian apartment, within which individuals can explore and make efficient changes with the click of a button. Founder Jacques Barret is planning to use the digital showroom to exhibit American furniture designs.
This will allow the Triode Gallery to put pieces on display that do not necessarily fit spacial restrictions. Although costly and time-consuming for the developers — virtual reality specialists WAOLab, the digital showroom creates an easier way for visitors to interact with the design and Triode Gallery's catalog.
