KYT (Keeping You Together) dropped a trip of contemporary diabetes bags that discreetly carry supplies and make the task of carrying daily treatment equipment more empowering and more fashion-forward. All of the bags help to organize the carrier’s diabetic supplies, including items like testing kits, pump consumables and insulin pens.
While the SideKYT takes the form of a stylish crossbody bag, SideKYT+ is a larger version and StarterKYT is a sleek, compact case.
KYT was founded by Bridget Scanlan, who was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 20 and needed to learn to manage blood glucose tests and insulin injections, as well as all of the equipment required to do so. "Every zip, every angle, every equipment detail has been influenced by the insights gathered from the hundreds of incredible diabetics who have opened up and shared their diabetes stories (and gripes) with me," Scanlan told Design Milk.
