Desert Designs' "The Collector's Collection" lookbook is captured by photographer Byron Spencer's lens. The conceptual advertorial marks the label's recent involvement with the eco-conscious Clean Cut concept show at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia. Through this involvement, the label has created a completely handmade-in-Australia collection using a range of vintage and recycled fabrics, salvaged from the 80s.
The Sydney-based brand's one-of-a-kind and collectible pieces will be available for view and purchase at the Desert Designs Siberian Desert store starting Thursday, May 29. The pieces embrace a vintage design aesthetic and find beauty in vintage fabrics.
The label's designers Jedda Daisy Culley and Caroline Sundt-Wels hope to inspire their fans with this line of unique fashions that encourage sustainable design practices.
