The 9th annual Des Alpes fashion show in Washington, DC featured some pretty incredible edible couture. The fashion show's proceeds benefit local DC area libraries and all of the chocolate looks are made by local chefs.
The Des Alpes Fashion show is a brilliant idea, showcasing what you can do with food! Some of the designs featured Tinkerbell, a Chronicles of Narnia witch dress and a Cruella DeVille ensemble complete with a dog. The theme for the fashion show was Literacy on the Silver Screen. The Des Alpes fashion show pairs two of my favorite things: chocolate and clothes!
