Dar Baklava specializes in creating high-protein, low-sugar handmade baklava bites, bringing a healthier version of a Middle Eastern treat to American consumers. The clean snack is powered by premium nuts and features simple ingredients like flour, sugar, cornstarch, butter and milk to create indulgent yet well-balanced varieties like Pistachio, Cashew and Walnut. The brand's snackable baklava called Snacklava is available in slim boxes that protect the beautifully layered bites until they're ready to eat.

“Baklava usually has a lot of syrup that is usually drenching and soaking so it’s soggy when you bite through it,” says founder Sherif Badawy, “That’s why we came up with the slogan ‘no sticky fingers’ so you can bite through it and hold it on a walk or traveling without needing to wash your hands.”
