Delage unveiled two new body kits for the D12 hypercar, each of which feature an open-top design. The hypercar was originally unveiled in 2020 as a track-focused, $2.2 million USD car inspired by the historic French automaker Delage. The car has now been upgraded with the 'F1' and 'Speedster' trims.
The F1 trim features a track racing-inspired cockpit with a small windshield and an open-top design. While operating this trim, wearing a full-size helmet is mandatory by law. This trim retails for $190,000 USD on top of the default price of the vehicle. The Speedster trim, on the other hand, features a slightly larger windshield and a more protected cockpit. As a result, a helmet is not required while operating this trim. Customers also have the option to purchase both trims and interchange the cockpit themselves for $260,000 USD.
