'Hennessey Performance,' the Texas-based automotive manufacturer famous for its high-end hypercars, has unveiled the 'Venom F5 Roadster.' This vehicle is an open-top convertible version over the brand's previous Venom F5 Spyder. Currently, Hennessey has confirmed that the vehicle will feature the same 'Fury' engine as its predecessor. This means the Venom F5 Roadster will boast an astonishing 1,817 horsepower, twin-turbocharged V-8 engine, and a 7-speed manual transmission.
When Hennessey announced the Venom F5 Spyder in 2017 it had ambitious goals of achieving a top speed of 300mph. Now, the Venom F5 Spyder, and subsequently the roadster, boasts an incredible top speed of 311 mph, solidifying the Venom F5 as one of the fastest road vehicles available to consumers. Hennessey Performance is hosting a full reveal event for the Venom F5 Roadster on August 9th, 2022.
