This cyber bullying campaign by Pro Juventute effectively communicates that while the offense may be conducted on the Internet, the hurt felt by those bullied plays out in real life.
The ad itself is brilliant in communicating the real scars left by cyber bullying. With each click of the mouse, a new scar is opened; this is effectively what this image-only ad conveys. On a simple black and white photo of a young boy with his shirt off, several cursors hover over different parts of his body. Each cursor is stabbing the boy's flesh as blood seeps out. This cyber bullying campaign seems effective because of how it literally spells out the connection between bullying online and low self esteem in real life.
