New York native and American pop artists Charles Fazzino has released a set of customized Monopoly board games inspired by New York City. This board game set features references to NYC and is recreated for a three-dimensional layout.
Most of the actual locations have been changed in accordance to NYC locations (i.e. Madison Avenue, Uptown, East Side), and are presented alongside illustrations of these locations, too. All of the game pieces have been changed (taxi cabs, firefighter helmets), in accordance to NYC icons.
The recreated game is made in a hardwood case with tempered glass tops and over 170 inlaid crystals and foiled elements to add extra glint and flair to the original design. There are 2,000 copies available priced at $500 each of the NYC customized Monopoly board games by Charles Fazzino.
