Hormel Chili and Adam Thielen collaborated on a pair of custom cleats that bring awareness to the fact that one in eight children in Minnesota struggle with hunger. As such, the custom cleats from the top-selling chili brand feature "1 in 8" on the design, referencing the 163,000 children in the state who are impacted.
These custom cleats are part of the company's ongoing Thursdays with Thielen campaign, which is all about sharing team-inspired recipes to show off the versatility of the chili for game day and beyond.
Hormel Foods will be donating 8,000 cans of Hormel Chili to support thousands of families in Minnesota. On the field, Thielen is also doing his part to support the community, as Hormel Foods is donating one yard of Hormel Chili to Second Harvest Heartland in the Twin Cities for every yard Thielen gained—to date, it's nearly 400 yards.
