DC Brau Brewing Company, which has established itself as the foremost craft brewery in the Washington, D.C. region since it was founded back in 2011, has launched a marvelously hoppy and eminently crushable IPA in the form of 'Smells Like Freedom,' an unabashedly strong brew that is a must-sample for any serious lover of hoppy pale ales.
This outstandingly crushable IPA is said to have a somewhat dry medium body which is the result of adding sugar in the brewing process. Meanwhile, the hop lineup comprises Eureka, Strata and Columbus hops, which give this beer notes of pine, sticky cannabis, earthiness, resin and white pepper.
Coming in at an ABV of seven percent, 'Smells Like Freedom' is a strong yet crushable IPA that is one of a trio of annual releases being offered by DC Brau.
