MAP Architecture works together with Jon Broome Architects to design the Creek Cabin. It is defined by its green roof that is covered by grass and timber cladding as the home is built into a bank located in the Suffolk Broads Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that is meant to honor its surrounding nature.
MAP Architecture partner Robert Mawson speaks to Dezeen about the project, explaining that "For me, this project was about finding a way to live in harmony with the surrounding environment. The local area is rich with biodiversity and a sensitive approach to all areas of the building has led to a home that not only sits within, but interacts with the local wildlife."
