Inclume Architects designs the new Hide Cabin, which is a small and minimal structure that rests in the remote woodlands of England. Specifically, it is in Thetford and offers protective shelter for bird watchers or those trekking through.
Visitors are able to come and immerse themselves in their surroundings to really connect with the nature that surrounds them and observe the wildlife in their true habitat. The design is inspired by the idea of a bird hide, which is meant to be discreet and subtle. It is also meant to channel the idea of an 'escape' for those that love nature to have a safe and tranquil area of rest. The building is small and compact with an opening on one side and sheltered by a canopy roof.
