Starbucks' is Now Offering Cold Foam as a Topping for Any Icy Drink

For anyone who has been hit with a mid-day Butterbeer craving, now there is a way to enjoy a nearly perfect replica thanks to Starbucks' new cold foam option. Available as of today at Starbucks stores nationwide, cold foam gives consumers a delicious new way to take their iced drinks up a notch.
Similar to the frothy topper that many people associate with Butterbeer, Starbucks' new cold foam is a denser take on frothed milk. Baristas start by whipping nonfat milk in a blender until the consistency is thick and frothy. The silky layer is then poured over any cold drink to give iced coffee and lattes a foamy head. Best of all, the cold foam comes in both an Cascara-sweetened and unsweetened variety, so consumers can customize their cold drinks accordingly.
