Designers Huzefa Rangwala and Jasem Pirani are the creative minds that run the Mumbai-based studio MuseLAB and its recent project is the design of the Coimbatore Hacienda. It is a beautiful home nestled in the city with the same name just in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
The home is a comfortable forever home as the owners tapped the design team with a brief to create a residence that would meet conceptual goals. This includes "contextualizing the hacienda typology within Chettinad vernacular, calculating Manaiyadi Shastram according to Vastu Shastra tenets, and creating the perfect city center oasis." The home is two stories and it is complete with a dynamic connection between the two that joins with a large central courtyard.
