Hong Kong-based school My ArchiSchool has just announced the new Youth ArchiDesign Competition which calls in children to use artificial intelligent tools to design a school village. This is for the annual competition and this year, the task asks children between the ages of six to 17 to create a school village that would facilitate learning and social environments. It must have two schools, at least one garden with sustainable farming, and a canteen.
My ArchiSchool shared with Dezeen, "Why generative AI for students? Students can enjoy greater support for establishing their ideas and options through cloud-based computation. For education purposes, generative AI removes the barriers between students and visualisation and production. It will help young designers to produce their artworks with affordable resources and present their ideas and artworks to a wider public."
