For this year's International Modern Arts Festival held in Kyoto, Japan, PUDDLE created a small-scale coffee kiosk with a design that takes up just 20 square meters.
The compact coffee kiosk was set up to complement other exhibitions at the Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art, which is where the international festival took place.
The structure itself was made from a combination of aluminum and polycarbonate and references the traditional shape and style of a greenhouse. The kiosk's lightweight form allows for easy assembly and removal of the structure, meaning that there is ample potential for the structure to appear at a number of locations. The team behind the coffee kiosk notes: "As a matter of fact, there was an request to set up this kiosk in a different location during this time, and we were able to accommodate this since the deconstruction, removal, and re-installation took just one day to complete."
