'Bar Louie,' the restaurant and bar based in Texas, has announced the 'Cocktails For A Cause' campaign to support the children of restaurant workers. Bar Louie is continuing its streak of social good-focused campaigns, continuing from its initiative to provide designated drivers with free non-alcoholic beverages over the 2021 Holiday season.
With Cocktails For A Cause, Bar Louie will be donating $1 for each 'Wild Berry Margarita' sold. This is the brand's newest craft cocktail. The donations will go to 'Children of Restaurant Employees' (CORE), a non-profit organization dedicated to helping families in the foodservice industry support their children during times of crisis.
The WIld Berry Margarita is made with blackberry, strawberry, lime, and 'Don Julio Blanco Tequila' to create a powerful, berry-filled alcoholic beverage. Additionally, the mix of berries in this drink sometimes result in a guest getting a blue-colored mustache after drinking the margarita. Guests who end up with this mustache can post a photo of it with the hashtag '#DONTHESTACHE' as both an homage to the tequila brand, and a way of drawing attention to the charitable campaign.
