The Campbell Soup Co. recently unveiled a new line of protein-rich Campbell’s Chunky Maxx soups, which contain between 18 to 26 grams of protein per serving. These hearty new soups from Campbell's are packaged in single-serve microwavable cups and are offered in six different varieties such as: Bison Bacon Burger with Carrots and Potatoes or Grilled Sirloin Steak with Ham, Red Beans and Rice. Some of the other combinations that double up on the meat include ham and steak, as well as grilled chicken and bacon. As such, these microwavable tubs boast labels that call out the fact they are loaded with "40% more meat."
Many consumers are now looking for quick heat-and-eat meals that are packed with protein so that they may easily refuel and feel satiated during a busy day.
