Mother Earth Brewing Company has long been renowned for its quality offerings in the strong beer category, and the company is looking to further that reputation even more with the launch of '4Seasons Winter '22,' a bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout that will well and truly appeal to lovers of heavily chocolate-infused stouts.
This particular imperial stout features unabashedly bold and liberal amounts of dark chocolate and Dutch process chocolate powder. Meanwhile, the barrel-donated hints of vanilla and booziness and a gentle dusting of cinnamon make for a combination of flavors that will remind you of a tasty s'more, further enhancing this beer's reputation as a winter sipper that will warm your heart.
Chris Baker, director of brewing operations at Mother Earth, noted that this imperial stout marks a slight departure from the brewery's regular approach of crafting classic beers to a high quality with slight additions. 'With Winter ’22 we took the opposite approach and really set out to capture the essence of s’more flavors to serve as the cornerstone of the recipe,' Baker said.
