NICE DAY is a new Chinese takeout restaurant that is said to "serve as a pop-up and act as an updated model of traditional Chinese takeout restaurants." The restaurant is focused on serving American-Chinese food that's designed for delivery, including updated classics like Kung Pao Chicken and Mapo Tofu.
With NICE DAY, restaurant group Junzi acknowledges that many of the first-generation immigrants who opened the Chinese takeout restaurants are now retiring and Chinese restaurants are disappearing as a result. NICE DAY is designed to revive American-Chinese dining and make the most of existing spaces to modernize the takeout experience. Out of its Greenwich Village location, NICE DAY now offers delivery and pickup options during select days of the week.
