When former varsity runner, competitive cheerleader, and dedicated vegan Brook Hammer was in search of a healthy but tasty dessert alternative that worked with her lifestyle, she discovered that there were few options available in grocery stores, prompting her to to start Chimp Treats, an innovative health food company.

As Hammer explains, she was looking for health food recipes during her busy training schedule in university, which is when she discovered Nicecream, a frozen dessert made solely of bananas. Shocked that she couldn't find similar products in-store, Hammer decided to bring it to market herself. Now, Chimp Treat's Nicecream is available in major and independent grocery stores all over Canada, and has plans to expand to the US too.
Consumers can buy Nicescream in three different flavors, all of which are entirely vegan, non-dairy, low-fat, and free of added sugars. These flavors include Banana, Mango Banana, and Strawberry Banana.
